My name is August Boyce, I’m a 21 year old artist based in Oregon and New York.

I lean towards an illustrative and loosely figurative style, realized through fine line inked drawings, mixed watercolor-acrylic paintings, and sculptural forms, such as paper mache, sewn objects, and woven or embroidered pieces. I prefer to work with multiple mediums that vary depending on each project. I attempt to create cohesion through shared themes. Themes of storytelling and ritual, histories and mythologies, nostalgia and memory, dreams and imaginations, influence my creation.
